It’s finally here! Yay! If you’ve been following along over on IG then you know I’ve been working on getting my outdoor patio space ready for Spring and Summer! I had so much fun with this project and loved adding little touches like new rugs, lots of candles, bright new pillows, and colorful flowers!
Enjoy!

2021 Patio Decorating Ideas
Something that I’ve really enjoyed making for you guys lately is these mood boards! I’m a huge fan of planning out spaces visually before starting decorating projects. Besides just looking pretty, mood boards can help with keeping you on track and on budget! No overspending or buying unnecessary items that don’t fit or don’t make the final design cut!
For my patio decor, I wanted a comfy and cozy feel with lots of bold colors paired with inviting texture! I love a good navy and yellow combo, so I tried to pull in those colors as much as I could. I LOVE the way it turned out!

How do I make my patio cozy?
There are a ton of ways to make your patio cozy and inviting! Some of my favorite ways are adding plenty of texture, comfortable seating, plants, and a fire element (fireplace, firepit, or candles). Make your patio space an extension of your home!

World Market Outdoor Dining Table
The centerpiece of this entire patio look is this fantastic table. I bought this set years ago and from a patio store in Houston and can not link the exact one. However, when I was looking for it online, I found this one from World Market, and Y’all, not only is it identical, it is a way better price! SCORE!
One tip I have if you are furnishing your outdoor space is to start with the foundational pieces like a table and chairs. Then, build around that based on what kind of space you have to work with. For us, we have a fairly large patio which meant I had room for a dining area, a sitting area, and an entertainment area!
