Alright, I have to know. Do you listen to podcasts?? And if so, which ones?! I may be a little late to the podcast party because I only started listening to them this year. But! I’ve found a few that I love and listen to regularly now so I thought I’d share them with you! I’m gonna warn you though; these podcasts are all over the place in terms of genres! I like a little bit of everything (kinda like music!), so you’re gonna see picks from all over the map! I’ll try to group them for you the best I can… oh, who am I kidding, there will be no grouping… LOL. Just read through them! I bet you’ll find some you’d like!

I’ll start with binge-worthy podcasts!
I am in LOVE with the Influencer Podcast by Julie Solomon! If you have an online business or are thinking of starting one, this podcast is the holy grail of navigating the sometimes scary waters of online business. These days, personal branding is the gold standard if you want to stand out and make waves online, and Julie seriously knocks it out of the park on this topic. I am not joking when I tell you that I literally binge listened to every single episode to get caught up and up to date with this podcast! She interviews some of the biggest players in the online influencer space and holds nothing back! I am serious when I say that I am certain I would not have the success that I’ve had online if it weren’t for this podcast! Definite #1!
Next up is the Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher! This is another one that is super binge-worthy because Jenna teaches so much! She interviews some extremely powerful and inspiring women who have so much knowledge to share… it’s incredible to hear from so many powerhouses! I love to listen to this podcast because Jenna does such a good job of making the shows feel like a candid chat between girlfriends rather than a strict…“ here’s the info. Learn it” type set up. I don’t know about you, but my criteria for a podcast has to include that it is entertaining and real. I lose interest quickly if the content is not light, funny, and candid! This podcast is all of those things and more! If you follow Jenna on social media, then you know she’s all about keeping it real, so her podcast is just a natural extension of her beautiful personality! I LOVE IT!
OK. Next up is another uber inspiring podcast! If you’re not familiar with Rachel Hollis, then you have to had just woken up from a coma! This girl is kicking ass and taking names in the online space this year! I absolutely loved her book “Girl Wash You Face!“, If you haven’t read it. Do yourself a favor and do that now! IT IS AMAZING y’all! Her Podcast, Rise, is just as good as her book if not better! She’s another one that gets super talented and thought-provoking people on her show to interview week after week. I’m always left with a fire in my belly to get to work and create the life I know I was meant for after listening to Rachel and her interviews! I love her no fluff style. She tells it like it is, holds nothing back, and is not afraid to be herself and say exactly what she really thinks! Such a cool chick and I LOVE that she’s a TEXAS girl now! 🙂
Ok. Have yall had enough of the #GirlPower podcasts yet?!? I could literally listen to kick ass women doing inspiring things all day long lol! But! I do have some others that I like too! So, next up, is probably gonna shock you, but I LOVE listening to the Joe Rogan Podcast! I know, I know, mostly dudes listen to this show but it really is entertaining! He interviews some amazingly talented people in all areas such as sports, business, politics; you name it! He also has fellow comedians on the show quite often, so if you’re looking for a laugh this is it! Beware though! He has strong views, likes to curse, and dark humor is not off the table! If you’re easily offended, I’d say skip this one, but If you’re into hearing from really cool people doing really cool things and like to laugh this is a great one! Also. I legit can not say the name JOE ROGAN without saying it in Dave Chappell’s crack fiend voice. Please tell me that y’all remember The Chappell Show and his skit with Joe Rogan! If you don’t know what I’m talking about then I’m super sorry that I said crack in this post… If you do know what I’m talking about, then we just became best friends, and you’re invited to Thanksgiving! 🙂
Alright. How many was that? Four? So one more. (Clearly, I write these titles before I plan the actual content) Just being real folks! OK. Back to the topic. UGH. I have a few more that I like but to keep this thing under 1000 words, I’ll just share one more! So this one is totally random, but it’s one that I love to listen to on road trips! It’s called Serial, and if you like mysteries this one is so good! It’s kinda like Dateline or 20/20 where they go into an unsolved crime and try to solve it! Y’all I am hooked on this Podcast! Matt and I love to pop it on when we’re gonna be in the car for a few hours. You’d think it would be hard to follow without the visuals you would get from say a TV series, but the producers have done an excellent job of covering every detail just like as if it were a book! I’m a Dateline junky and can not pass up a good murder mystery, but I get really ticked off if things are left unanswered or uninvestigated! LOL. I’m serious about my crime shows y’all! So when someone recommended this podcast to me, I honestly didn’t think it would check off all my boxes for an entertaining show, but I was wrong! It is so good! I even got Matt hooked on it too!
So there you have it! A little glimpse into my Podcast life! For the most part, you’ll catch me listening to something inspiring or something that’s gonna teach me how to run a better business… but, if you catch me on a day that I just want to veg out, you might find me listening to Joe Rogan and trying to solve murder mysteries! I told ya. I’m all over the place! 🙂
