Y’all… April was such an amazing month with its spring lines and soft, romantic color palettes, gorgeous holiday apparel, and — of course! — all the pastel Easter candies a girl could ask for!
As I make way for the short sets and strappy sandals that will propel me into warmer summer months, I wanted to recap my top five favorite April outfits, which was not easy because I feel like the designers really outdid themselves this season and I totally got my hands on some really great outfits!
Here we go!
1. So, I absolutely LOVE a quick and simple dress I can throw on, pair with simple accessories, sassy shades, and just go.
This candy-striper dress fits flawlessly and allows just enough leg to show through as to say, “Hey, tan summer legs. We see you!” With flats, it’s absolutely perfect for the farmer’s market. With heels, it screams, “ladies’ night out!” And don’t even get me started on this pair-all bag I practically stole from Amazon at under $40. This bag is my new best friend and we’ve already got summer plans.
2. I thought I’d never, ever say this, but I not only bought a bodysuit – I absolutely LOVE this bodysuit from Abercrombie.
Paired with some cut-off denim, it’s casual and flirty and, admittedly, fashionable. And while I was breaking my own rules, I splurged on a second-hand Louis Vuitton from The Little Bird Inc. Their mint-condition designer bags are everything LV is known for – total showstopper style – except at a fraction of the price! It’s a simple outfit that makes a big statement.
3. Okay… are you loving the blazer trend right now? Because I am obsessed!
I paired an adorable patterned blazer and crisp white top with some frayed denim cut-offs and I am really diggin’ this combo. It’s classic, yet street-savvy. It’s business meeting Monday and casual Friday all at the same time. It quickly became one of my favorite ways to pair two staples that would otherwise get lost in a sea of familiarity. Try this look… you’ll love it! (P.S. I’d even go as far as to say you can replace the white top with a vintage band tee for added flare.)
4. Alright! Y’all know I love my LBDs and this simple black wrap dress from Pink Blush is everything!
Known for their soft, comfortable fabrics (and their uh-mazing maternity line), Pink Blush took the little black dress to the next level. It is the perfect length and can be dressed way up or thrown on for a quick get-up-and-go outing. I paired my dress with Starbucks and Louis Vuitton because this mama needed a little something caffeinated and a little something high-class! With reflective pink sunnies and a staple denim jacket, I’m basically ready to take over the world while looking super adorable.
5. Okay, I know you’ve heard about these jeans a ton from me but I am in LOVE with this white denim.
I’m pretty much obsessed with all things white, but this outfit ranked high up on my list of faves. I got these crisp white jeans from Abercrombie – on sale, ladies – at just $31. I paired them with a cotton button-up cami, a few gold accessories, and one of my favorite pairs of wedges from Walmart that I scored for under $20! Literally, this outfit was ballpark $100 and looks like a million bucks. These jeans are a total closet staple and will work with any summer top, so don’t judge me when you see these on repeat. All. Summer. Long! 🙂
