Hey Hey! My long awaited Summer Wal-Mart Haul is finally here and I am so stinking excited to share it with Y’all! I’m a sucker for all things summer, so when I saw and heard that Wal-Mart was making a huge splash this year with their swimsuits and fun summer styles… I decided to jump on the band-wagon and check it out! Y’all. Wal-Mart did not disappoint! They have totally stepped up their game in the fashion department! You guys are always asking me to share cute and affordable fashion picks so if you’ve been waiting…this post is for you sister!
Let’s chat about Wal-Mart.com for a hot second!
Did you know that Wal-Mart.com has name brands such as Ray-Ban, True Religion, Calvin Klein and Vince Camuto – all marked down to a more affordable price (which means I can buy, in multiples, items I love and that fit me well.) Score!
They also have premium men’s brands like Kenneth Cole and Tommy Bahama, as well as designer apparel for children. I can purchase two Betsey Johnson brand swimsuits for my daughters for the price I’d have normally paid for one – may be less! And believe me when I tell you my girls expect good fashion just like their mama!
If you haven’t checked out Wal-Mart.com in a while, definitely jump on it! They have all the regular things you’d expect from Wal-Mart PLUS premium and designer brands all shipped right to your door! Can. Not. Beat. That!
OK! Let’s jump into the pieces that I purchased for our Summer in the SUN!
I scored the perfect black two-piece from Time and Tru with its flattering, high-waisted bottom and romantic, embroidered top. I love how the bottoms give me full coverage across the back but still have flirty cut-outs along each side. The matching top is very classy as its molded top offers a lift but still adequate coverage – the perfect balance of class and sass!! If you know what I mean!! The back, however, is a bit more playful with a bodice style cinch, playful tassels and crisscross strap. Both pieces are available at Walmart for under $40 – in total! Insane, I know!
I’d usually spend well over $100 on one swimsuit or separate so, with money left over, I also opted for this Time and Tru Black Ruffle One Piece that is so slimming and supports all the right things. Yes, ladies… we love our bodies just the way they are but let’s keep it real, we can all use some help (especially in a swimsuit!) At just $19.96 this is a steal and the quality is really (honestly) impressive.
Both suits will pair beautifully with these Time and Tru brand kimonos. I am a true believer in being fully fashionable – even poolside. Marrying a cutesy swimsuit with an airy kimono (like these) is not only appropriate for activities happening on the deck, but they are easy to throw on, pack in a beach bag, and they don’t wrinkle! Why can’t all apparel be this easy? I am obsessed with the tassels and high-low cut of these perfect spring/summer cover-ups. Both are priced under $16 so grab a few!
When I head to the pool I come with all sorts of goodies (I’m a mom, what can I say?) I can bring my SPF, magazines, and snacks to the pool in this adorable straw tote by Time and Tru! The long, sturdy straps make it easy to carry and the bold colors and tassels make it easy on the eyes! Y’all, I love, love, love this bag! It will go with me everywhere this summer and be my pop color of choice!
When boat days and windy beach trips leave my hair tousled, I can rely on these adorable hair scrunchies and clips by Time and Tru. These are a must-have for any outdoor activity and can simply be thrown in my bag and used as needed. I really like how durable the elastic is in these scrunchies, knowing my quick, messy bun will be held in place! I have a feeling I know two little ones who will try and sneak a few. But, they are so super affordable I got enough for everyone.
Last but not least are these adorable sunnies! You gotta have sunnies poolside and I found the cutest pairs at Wal-Mart! I snagged these super cute pink, mirrored aviators for under $15 and these super cute square framed ones under $15 as well! If you’re always losing your sunnies at the pool or in the ocean… (happens to me more than I’d like to admit!) Then these are great to throw in your bag and not worry too much about losing them!
