Y’all I am obsessed with a capital O with Madewell right now! Their fall pieces are fire! I love that the whole store is basically basics (hehe!) that you can layer, coordinate, and switch around to create so many fun fall looks!
If you don’t know, they are known for their denim! I first started wearing Madewell denim because of their massive selection of high waist jeans! If you’re a mama then you know #highwaist is life! They also have a great range of varying lengths in their denim which is great because I’m a shorty.. 5’4” barely! So most jeans are way too long for me. I usually have to get my jeans hemmed for a more custom look, which I don’t mind doing, but having different lengths to choose from is definitely a plus!
Alright! Let’s talk about my TWO most recent denim purchases from Madewell that are to die for!
The first is the 9” High-Rise Skinny in the Berkley wash! They have a frayed hem which looks so good with booties or heels! Can I get an amen for not having to roll the hem!! LOVE! Also, these jeans have an added bonus! They have a button front with an added layer of fabric to hold everything in nice and flat! So good Y’all! I love that they can be dressed up or down! I’ve worn mine with flats, heels, blouses, and tees! As far as fit goes, I’d say they are true-ish to size. I’m usually a 26 or a 27, but the 26 is a tad baggy on me. That said I haven’t washed them yet, so I think they’re actually gonna be perfect!
OK, must have Madewell Jeans numero dos! Y’all I can’t even deal with how cute these jeans are! These are the Cali-Demi-Boot Jeans in the Bronson Wash! They have a super cute, boot cut, fit with a slight flare and are a tad shorter (think ankle length), so they look adorable with mules, flats, or heels! They also have the secret weapon button fly with added fabric piece for tummy control! These I would say are a little truer to size. I bought a 26, and I don’t think they’ll be going in the dryer!
